走進倫敦V & A 美術館，看應該是近年少年，更可能在當代藝術首次的展覽　－　《Disobedient Objects》，至少在觀冕堂皇的美術館內，辦這類型的展覽並不常見。Disobedient Objects就是指當代不同國家的抗爭運動中的道具。

《Disobedient Objects》

// Taking immediate action to address a social problem, rather than waiting for government representatives to do it, was conceptualized as “direct action” by anarchists at the beginning of the 20th Century. Direct action an involve strikes, civil disobedience or blockading using tools that extend the power of peoples’ bodies to act on the world. Clever props can also transform the atmosphere and the representation of an action, turning the tables on a powerful foe. //

從上個世紀至今，有關於種族、政治、性別、環保、反戰不同類型的抗爭不絕，沒有足夠的創意，抗爭者要突圍而出，絕不容易。有創意的抗爭道具，既可引起公眾關注，又能扭轉局面。

可能因為愛書的關係，讓我印像較深刻其中之一是 Book Bloc Shield，姑且把它翻譯成「書循牌」。製作很簡單，就是把兩塊咭板貼在一起，背面用舊單車呔做手杷，再用防水膠紙包著。「書循牌」正面就是不同書籍的封面，如George Orwell的《動物農莊》、Frantz Fanon的《The Wretched of the Earth》等。「書循牌」首次出現於2011 年 11 月，紐約哥倫比亞大學學生用來抗議學費上漲。在這場抗議中，被選做「書循牌」的書，都是從「佔領華爾街」中，設在Zuccotti Park內的 People’s Library 中，那5554 本書中選出。

在7月佔中預演時，從電視畫片中看見參予人士被警察抬走。之後有不同人士表示要增肥，以增加被抬走時的難度。在《Disobedient Objects》展出了英國綠色和平發明，不同版本的“lock-ons device” ，就是令抗爭者有力地連在一起，不易被抬走的工具。“lock-ons device”　在 1989 年澳洲反破壞森林的示威中首次派用場，示威者將自己前臂放在金屬管內，金屬管內有手扣將示威者一個一個連起來，要用特殊工具才分開，要解開、抬走他們絕不容易，當然示威者是有手扣的鎖匙，以備不時之需。“lock-ons device”　曾在不同的抗爭運動中出現過，包括在西雅圖的反世貿示威。

吹氣藝術品不是新鮮事，但吹氣的示威品成為美術館展品，卻很少見。

在展場的一角，看見一舊銀色吹氣雲名 “inflatable cobblestones”，吹氣雲在2012年巴塞隆拿及柏林的工運中，工人就是利用這個道具去阻止防暴警察埋身。“inflatable cobblestones”　由一群藝術家組成的 Eclectic Electric Collective 設計。

吹氣抗爭工具，其實在 1968 年意大利及30年代的蘇聯等抗爭運動中也出現過。吹氣抗爭工具看來殺傷力很低，但卻能令防暴警察不知如何對付是好，接住它又不是，戮穿它又不是。

在 V&A 美術館做一個這樣的展覽是極具突破性，策展人Gavin Grindon表示，希望展示土法製作的抗爭道具的集體力量。

//We wanted to show the collective power these domestic objects can have when grabbed and repurposed with political intent.//

這些物件單一看來是簡單及微不足道，但集結在一起時力量卻不容忽視。
